On Wednesday 12/5, The MAC Men traveled to Chicago, IL and took on Daley College. The Cards beat Daley 116 to 80. MAC had 6 players that scored double digits in the contest. Darreus Brown lead all scorers with 24 points. Then on Saturday, 12/8, the Cardinals did not slow down.
They beat John Wood Community College 94 to 65. Darreus Brown lead all scorers with 26 points; Gabe O’Neal and Steve Wooten both had 15 points. The MAC Cardinals are now 11-2 on the season.
On Friday and Saturday this weekend, the MAC Cardinals will travel to Freeport, IL to participate in the Highland Tournament. The first game of the tournament will be against Olive-Harvey on Friday at 5pm. The link to the tournament bracket is below. (12/4/18) St.

John Wood CC Men The Mineral Basketball team traveled to Bellville, IL on Monday, 11/26. The Cardinals fell to Southwestern Illinois College by the score of 88 to 79. The leading scorers in the loss for MAC were: Yahuza Rasas with 22 pts, 8 rebounds and Darreus Brown with 20 points. Then on Sunday, 12/2, the men traveled to St. Louis Community College and played Lewis and Clark in the STLCC Shootout. The Cards beat Lewis and Clark by the score of 99 to 59. MAC was lead in scoring by Yahuza Rasas with 18 points and Darreus Brown with 17 points.
Every player on the MAC roster scored in the contest. The Cardinals record is now 9-2 on the season.
(11/26/18) Cardinals now 8-1 after Thanksgiving sweep. The Mineral Basketball team played at home all week. On Tuesday, 11/20, MAC took on West Kentucky Tech and beat them 116-73. Leading scorers were Yahuza Rasas with 20 points and Steve Wooten with 18 points. Then on Friday and Saturday, MAC hosted the Thanksgiving Classic. On Friday, the Cards defeated Fort Scott 85-79.
Leading scorers for MAC were Patrick Strzala with 19 points and Yahuza Rasas with 14 points. Then on Saturday, the Cardinals defeated Roane State 85-79.
The Cards were led in scoring by Steve Wooten and David Kachelries, both with 18 points. The MAC Cardinals are now 8-1 on the year. On Monday, November 26, 2018, the Cardinals travel to Belleville, IL to take on Southwestern Illinois College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm.
Then on Sunday, December 2, MAC will travel to St. Louis Community College to participate in the STLCC Shootout. The Cardinals take on Lewis and Clark at 6pm. (11/20/18) Cardinals go 1-1 in Bob Sechrest Classic. The Mineral Basketball team started the week off well against Quincy University on 11/12. The Cards beat Quincy JV, 95-72.

Yahuza Rasas was the leading scorer with 22 points. Then on Friday the Cards beat Kennedy King 99-69. Patrick Strzala led all Cardinals with 18 points, and Gabe O’Neal and Darreus Brown had 17 points. On Saturday, MAC suffered their first loss of the season against a very good Triton College team, 72-68. The Cards were led in Scoring by Darreus Brown with 16 points and Steve Wooten with 12 points.
The Cards are 5-1 on the season. On Tuesday 11/20, The MAC Cardinals play West Kentucky Tech at home. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00pm. The Men’s Basketball Team will also play this Friday and Saturday at the BOB. The Cardinals will host the Thanksgiving Classic this weekend. The teams that are invited are Vincennes, Roane State, and Fort Scott.
